As the 2009 season comes to an end, the success stories from the Consumer Financing Department are flooding in.  When we sat down with Robert Torrissi, Program Director, he had some promising details to share with us. "The reports are showing vigorous performance and returns that validate our reasons for offering the program in its first full season at this capacity.  As we headed into December, requests for information on financing were matching requests made mid season, which makes for a promising forecast for 2010," Torrissi said. At the close of November, the EP Henry Financing Program  reported a substantial number of funded projects.  This means homeowners who have the funds available to them now but have not utilized them will begin to act as the winter expires.  "We know this because we keep an open line of communication with those homeowners to ensure they are using these funds with an EP Henry contractor on EP Henry products and when they plan on doing so," Torrissi added. Another big boost to the program and benefit for people using financing is that credit guidelines have become more relaxed by the program's funding sources, making it easier than it has been in years to approve homeowners for their line of credit.  The most recent analysis shows the approval rate at 65% of the applications received, with the national average hovering at around 50%. "I would say the numbers speak for themselves," Torrissi said.
